2009-2010 Dance Schedule

Contrary to what rumors may be floating around this great little town, there will still be dance in Blanding. I have accepted a position at the high school, and will be there from 8:00 - 4:00. However . . . .I LOVE dance, and I LOVE your daugthters, and would be so sad to see the dance program die out . . . .so. . . . . . .

We need some help figuring out our dance schedule. Dance is great, and I love it, however, I need to be able to spend more time with my children now that they are in school during the day. Amber & I have brain stormed on how to simplify dance and still keep the program going. This is our thought:

Have two 8 class sessions. The first would be Oct, Nov, perform in Dec. The second would be Feb, March, perform in April. There would be a set fee for the session, instead of paying monthly. Costumes would be simplified as well . . .perhaps just jazz pants and a cute t-shirt . . .just something simpler that would not be such a big expense.

Hmmmm. . . no comments yet? The more I think about it, the more I like it! Plus, Kenny reminded me that it would be good to have January off since that is our biggest drill month - he's a thinker!

What would the set fees be? I have no problem with the schedule it sounds good to me.

Well, I personally think you are amazing for trying to keep dance going for the community when you are so busy and have your own kids to care for. I actually just want to know about the adult clogging. I would like to try and figure out coming and letting grandparents have the kids while I go to clogging. I just need to know so I can plan on it and drive up.
